One of their latest offerings is the innovative “Omne By FWD” mobile app, which includes health and lifestyle tracking features, as well as flexible insurance policies with monthly payment options.
FWD places significant emphasis on its DTC (direct-to-consumer) platform, which allows customers to easily purchase preferred life or general insurance products. They have also partnered with a diverse range of content providers to offer free streaming of music and films, eSports, gifts, and others. These partnerships play a critical role in FWD’s overall strategy.
The Challenge
As a people-centric brand, the Client has engaged IPPWORLD to help localise their Omne By FWD mobile app into 7 regional languages; Simplified Chinese (CN), Traditional Chinese (HK), Japanese, Vietnamese, Khmer, Thai, and Bahasa Indonesian.
The objective is to achieve a thorough localisation of the mobile app to effectively communicate with the target users in their preferred language and to provide an effortless user experience.
The IPPWORLD Solution
From the onset, our team collaborated closely with the Client’s teams of content creators and app developers, to develop a comprehensive plan for the integration of local language content and user instructions into the mobile app.
Respective localised language content and user instructions were efficiently integrated into the app’s content management software, followed by rigorous linguistic checks to ensure an error-free user experience.
Our ongoing support in multi-language quality assurance allowed the Client to launch the mobile app simultaneously in all of their Asia-Pacific markets with confidence.
The Result
The Omne by FWD app has been downloaded over a million times since its launch and its monthly active user base continues to grow at an impressive rate.
